This is a fabulous baby swaddle. It's designed in a triangular-type shape with a kangaroo pouch for baby, so it's much more practical than a square or rectangular blanket (which I had for my first child). It is light-weight, yet keeps baby warm and cosy. It doesn't bobble in the wash (it's machine washable and great quality 100% merino wool).
The colour is actually really nice (nicer than I imagined in reality) and there's a natural stretch to the wool, which is useful for a swaddle blanket and also for the beanie hat.
It can also be used as a blanket in the car (there is seat-belt aperture, which is really useful) and later (after the first swaddle months are over) you can use it as a shawl, as a simple blanket, etc. I'd really recommend this!
